I picked up an 86 f-250 with the d44 ttb up front. I have read that these can be installed under the BII by shortening the drive shafts....I dont want to do that! I want to keep them full width.

Has anyone done this?
My thought was to lengthen the beams to match the mount points on the bronco? Any ideas?

I haven't done this but have read a fair amount. Lengthen the beams or move the pivots. Copykat [no longer on this forum, check dezertrangers, bII.org] has made wiy beam brackets w/1.5" lift that will accept both d-35 and d-44 beams. I bought some from him but haven't installed them yet. They are skookum. You can see if he is still doing these.
Good luck,

Richard
