Sometimes when I start my bronco it will run for a few seconds then stall. When I start it again if will run fine. I did a tune and put in a new coolant temp sensor. What else could it be ?

pull codes, 86's didn't have check engine lights so it is possible that you have codes and don't know it.

Well I recently did a tune up to my 88 Ranger a few days ago and idle was crap. It would drop to about 200 RPM for a few seconds then rise back to normal. I disconnected the negative battery cable for 10 minutes to reset the computer then reconnected it and started her up. Try it! She runs like a champ now besides the ticking issue.

Yeap... getting codes will help you understand what going on better and help you not get various parts that may or may not help resolve the problem.

that being said
it maybe the AIC (Air Idle Control)
it maybe the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)
it maybe the O2 sensor
it maybe the leaking intake gasket
it maybe the over presence of carbon in the intake manifold
it maybe a vacuum leak
