Hello,
New to the forum. Just bought a 1984 Bronco II with 2.8 and 5-speed. The trans and transfer case were with the truck but not installed. The truck was missing the engine-to-bellhousing separator plate, crossmember, flywheel, clutch fork and all of the nuts and bolts. I have located a clutch fork, ordered a clutch kit with clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out and pilot bearing. I still need a flywheel, separator plate and flywheel shim as well as all the nuts and bolts.
I have an '85 Bronco II with an automatic. Can I use the separator plate and crossmember from that truck? Are they the same? What thickness flywheel shim do I use? I was thinking of ordering a new Zoom flywheel from Summit.
Ned the truck for winter. Any help appreciated.

yes, you can use the plate and crossmember from the 85.believe the flywheel bolts are the same for the 2.9 and 4.0. bellhousing bolts from any of the small trucks.
