i noticed your brakeline setup. did you run braided line down from near the beam bracket all the way to the caliper. its tough to see but i would think that a short flex on the caliper and a short flex at the bracket would be easier? could you get better pictures of the brake line setup

I had the line and the fittings so that's what I used. Next set of beams will likely have a shorter flex line with hardline between them.

FWIW right now I only have 4 Leak points on both front lines. If I was to go with a hard line and rubber flex lines I would have atleast 4 per side. I've run similar setups for the past 5 years and never had issues with the lines. I can still lock up the fronts and I've got F150 D44 calipers and rotors.

When was the last time you saw a solid axle prerunner? They are rare and are out there, but mose pre-runners favor TTB, TIB and SLA setups.
there is a 85 chev full race truck a few miles from my house. full tube chasis, suspension seats, 600 hp, rad in the rear, no inner box, with a pile of travel, fiberglass sides and fenders, lexan windows, AND solid front axel. This truck has over $40 000 invested, and has been raced all over, trying to find pics for you guys

mine has maybe 16" or so of lift before the wheels come off the ground.
want to add a 4" suspension lift with the new frame.

cant wait to see how the wanna be raptor front clip looks all trimmed out and painted. Ain't any different than the wannabe F150 1 piece front clip most people use. I prefer the raptor look better too, if it is done right

Here's a few pics of my current project. 5.3 LS Chevy, 4L80E trans. Pretty much everything in the suspension is built, except shocks, bumpstops, and straps.

Edit: has just under 16" of travel with bumps and straps.

No haha, I don't. I had one for my other truck, which I am proud to claim as being one of the first with an Exploder 5.0 swap. Don't ask me where it is, but it's lurking around somewhere in the Ranger forum world.

That truck was cool, but definitely a learning experience. Pretty excited to get this thing moving.... it has been a wild ride. Going on almost a year now! It runs, but still need to finish up some exhaust and cooling system work. Been working on getting the radiator and intercooler mounted up properly -
