HI!! I was looking to change my tan 89B2 headlights and grill to the older 84-88 version (shown below)
Looks like I would have to replace the whole fender and grill but I don’t know the name of that piece between the bumper and the bottom of the grill with the blinker. Is there another way or easier way to achieve that pre 89B2 look? Not a big fan of the box look.

1st generation BII runs from 84 to 88. 2nd generation is 89 and 90.
The main change is to the front. The hood and fenders are different. The frame horns are different. The radiator core support is different.
People have done this conversion but the work is extensive.
Fenders
Hood
Bumper
Radiator core support
Frame horns
Grill
Headlight buckets and associated hardware
Headlight pigtails as the bulbs are different.

ouch. What is the name of the part between the top bumper and bottom grill??
Is there a step by step for this that I can use or video to make this happen? I couldn’t find anything on here, probably looking up the wrong stuff

Valance I think.
TheRangerStation.com is a sister web site with more tech articles. They cover Bronco II rangers and explorers. I would check for article there or post a thread asking for anyone who has done the conversion.
