I have a 1984 bronco project i bought that was already 302 swapped. it runs great but doesnt have any lights or anything else. I noticed the truck has no PCM in the passaneger kick panel. the bracket is there thought. my main question is this. I am about to start rewiring all the lighting in the truck and it all appears according to diagrams its ran through the multi function switch and fuse panel. so would I ever need to reinstall a pcm?

If their is no ecm im assuming your 5.0 is carbed...
Only mordern ecm take control over almost all functions in the truck, there are also independent gem and sjb that control body function

In simpler terms, the engine ECU/PCM/computer controls only the engine function, you don't need it.
