rear drive shaft

i have a question any time i get my bronco into a bined i brake the rear yoke off the tranfer case and it has a 4 inch lift so i was wondering if its because of that or what because its gettin quite expensive to replace. thanks kyle

I would say it either 1 of 5 reasons:

1) bad front U-joint
2) driveline bent
3) driveline angle not correct
4) too much axle wrap
5) Maybe nut is not torqued down to enough ft. lbs.

Are you going forward or reverse when the yoke breaks off?
Is the rig twisted when this happens? Are you in low or high range?

All of these situation you need to think about & let us know as it could help determine what th cause is from.

well its the rear yoke it has straps and i made the shaft out of a long bed ranger one i just shortind it and its when you goin forward.
