86 BII automatic will be an A4LD. Im not a transmission dude. I’m not the guy to help you other than make sure your fluid is full and your linkage is hooked up. But I’ll ask if you have posted on TheRangerStation.com ? Same engines and transmissions on the Rangers and there is some smart cookies over there.
