I am not used to dial in gears, I saw how to do it many times in pics, books, etc. but never had a chance to try it. I know it is a job that must be well done the first time if I do not want to trash the gears.

I have a 7.5" Ranger axle with 3.45 gears. I also have a BroncoII axle with 3.73 gears from factory, and another BroncoII axle with 4.56 gears.

I want to install deeper gears on the Ranger axle.

If I take the diff case with the crown, the pinion, and all the shims of one of the BroncoII axles and place it on the Ranger axle in the same way (shims) it was in the BII axle, could I expect the same contact pattern?

Maybe this is a too stupid question, sorry guys!

No, but should be a good starting point to set up the gears.
Why not swap the entire axle under?

i agree, why do all that work if you can just swap the entire axle?

The Ranger axle is for ABS and the BroncoII ones not, it is the main reason I did not think about to swap the entire axles.
