Prepare for a long day. I live in the rust belt so anything exhaust or steel for that matter is well in its way to its original molecular compounds. The last one I did was on my 89 with 3” body lift. The lift made access through the wheel well the way to go. Remove the inner fender. Get some penetrating oil on the bolts and soak them for days on end if you can. Get a good torch for heat and a good set of rounded head bolt extractors sockets. Take your time when removing bolts. Small increments loose then tight then a little looser then tight but never over tight. The idea is to allow the oil to work in. Don’t be afraid to put the heat to them. Oil them again and go have an adult beverage.

Thanks for the advice, so definitely going to remove the wheel well, and go that route, it's a southern one, so no rust to deal with
I'll get those sockets as well
