when i made the new front frame rails i made them to be the same width as a 79 f-150 for ease of mounting the radius arms, motor mounts, and steering box
the 300 fit with just a little firewall beating. the radiator is goin to be mounted to the roll bar in the bed. the whole thing is goin to be JD green and yellow but i just havnt had the time to paint it yet
after getting the full width dana 44 under it i found out the frame was bent on both side infront of the cab. so i cut stock frame rails off and built my own out of 2"x5" .188 wall tube.
i used 4" bronco graveyard superflex coils and stock f-150 coil buckets
well i've been gettin alot of questions about the bronco II iv'e been buildin so here we go.
i bought it from my uncle for 300 bux with a pink camo paint job, no lift and 35" bfg mt's
after about a year i blew both head gaskets and fried the auto overdrive trans. so the teardown began
out...
does any one know the with of a 9" out of a 77 Ranchero? im wanting to upgrade the axles in my 84 bronco II but wasnt sure if the 9" would be stronger then a 8.8 swap. this bronco II is currantly stock
I have a transfer case out of a 83 BII that has 2hi, 4hi, and 4Lo. it was bolted onto a automatic trany. my bronco only has 2hi or 4hi with an automatic trany will these two transfer cases interchange with each other? also what model numbers are they?
has any body attempted to put a ford 300 I6 into a bronco II. I did some measuring and I think if i move the radiator to the back there will be room. it will be strictly for mud racing and will not be driven on the road.
