No. I have a 1.75" tube spacer that goes between the top of the hi-steer arm and the Heim joint.

Those are just gussets.... I made my own hi-steer back in the day, and the BJ knuckles dont get them up very high. I will be building onto the hi-steer arm itself, you will see. I added the gussets just for extra strength... I never had issues before, but I intend on doing some higher speed...

I know I'm slow as hell on work lately, been working on my tow rig, which takes precedence because its my DD as well.. here you can see how much further back it sits vs the old seats... New headers I also got a valve spring kit, and I'm ordering up an SCT.

thanks. still have a ton to do but its starting to come together. I'm going to be chopping the core support area out to put a bigger aluminum radiator in, to make room to make my fan a puller. I'm going to pull the orbital valve off and weld the frame up in that area, clean off all left over...
