The 4.2 is a 3.8. But the tec page I think is a genral swap idea. You could always put a carb on it...that may work. Or you could swap in a 4.0 swap with a manual trans.
4.0 from a 91 or so exploder. Bolt in swap. Swap underhood wiring harness. 2.9 fuel lines should snap on 4.0 fuel rail. Will bolt up to your trans and y pipe. Trans may not take the power of the 4.0. Still smogg legal in what ever area you live in. I think at least. 4.0 rad will bolt up to b2...
Yes needs to be a 2.8. I could not find a mustang . So I got every thing new from ebay and amazon. And where you from. I may be able to do a trade with you on all of my parts.
I am in the process of putting on a tire swing gate on a b2 that never had one on it. Does any one have any ideas of beefing up the rear area that the gate would bolt to. Keep in mind that I do not have a mig welder. Any help would be great.
