This is for a 86 B2

Ok let's get the stupid question out first:
How in the hell do you turn on hazard lights? I can't figure this out :)

Normals one now :)
How can you tell what version B2 you have?
My dash lights died(they were barely working when I bought it..very dim even at max setting) h how much of a pan is it to change them out? I hope it's only going to take removing the wood panel but not sure.

1) IIRC there is a button on the lower left of the steering column...pull it out.

2) Version...?? sorry, I don't know.

3)Replacing lights isn't too bad. Mainly screws that are reasonably accessible. You have to remove the 'face plate' [sorry, can't think of the name] and the bulbs are accessed from the backside. The hardest part is releasing the speedo cable. IIRC, you have to pinch the white plastic collar with two fingers and pull out. It's hard to get my hands in there.
Good luck,

Richard

By version I mean: base, Eddie Bauer, etc. I was looking at radios and it ask me this. I believe there are 3 versions for my year and I'm 99% sure its not the EB one..unless they came in blood red interior.

And by face plate do you mean the wood grain panel?

yes remove the dash bezel and then remove the screws from the gauge cluster then down by the gas pedal you will see the speedo cable screwed to the firewall, you will remove that screw and that makes it easier to reach behind the gauge cluster to remove the speedo cable
