Greetings.
How difficult would it be to transplant an older (1985) Bii onto a 1990 frame?
The body mount kits show different for 1985-1988 & 1989-1990.
I found a late '90 built frame with the D35 axles.:dunno:
It has no body or engine, but mine are good
Thanx

Duh!
Why not a ranger cab onto the b2 frame? That's what a lot of people do then make a flatbed. I've even seen 98+ cabs on b2s

Seems like a lot of work for just the D35 front axle...

What im saying is its easier to swap the D35 into your frame than it is to swap everything else.... the rear axle is the same...

I would think it'll bolt on but unless your '85 frame is bad why? Your '85 front bumper won't bolt to the '90 frame. The '90 will have a single high pressure fuel pump in the tank for EFI, vs the carb'd '85. If you want stronger axles for your BII just go find a junk 1st gen Explorer.
