...1989 Bronco II 2.9L electrical manual, m5odr1 , the EEC power relay is on the right hand cowl side. ( under the dash, passenger side, mounted by the passenger door, behind the plastic kick panel)

Yeah right . I've been all over the vehicle and haven't a clue where it could be .

The specific problem is no spark . May have grounded the red/light green near the distributor .
Power at coil . Ignition module and coil tested . No codes . No spark . No relay .

Look , the meth monkeys have been all through this vehicle before sis owned it and slowly I'm eradicating all the wtf . This time I just can't find the EEC relay and I even know what it is , what it does , and usually know where to look . Not this time ...

Okay fine , found the EEC under the engine compartment fuse block and it checks .
Still no spark .
Next up is the nonexistent crank position sensor
I guess I have to lift the dizzy and test the pickup
This ordeal is not making me happy

I think the pic says it all . That's the 12V+ to the TFI that was grounded . Red with light green wire
Pin in the connector go POP!
Waiting on a few wiring parts I didn't have .
More in a bit .
