how'd you do the snorkel?

i looked all over the place and could not find anyone who made a snorkel for the bii or the ranger and all i found was pvc custom snorkels, well i decided i didnt want a pvc snorkel, and since nobody sells one for the bii, i did a bunch of research and from looking at a lot of vehicles i found that the body line and the windshield line are very similar to the land rover discovery. so i was able to borrow a snorkel from a member of the local land rover club to try it and it looked very close. i finally broke down bought and and installed it, the biggest issue is as you well know, our air box is on the opposite side, i decided to custom bend tubes from the snorkel to the air box used silicone coupler hoses and clamps from 6.0 powerstroke charge air cooler tubes and it worked great..

roof rack. where did you buy it, what are the dimensions and where did you get the mounting hardware?

I love it! Awesome job on the snorkel!! :headbang:

:icon_cheers:
B2

Very nicely done!

i made the rack a while back, its about 3'6" by 5'7" made out of one inch square tubing..

how much did it cost to build it?

i believe i spent about 100 bucks in materials, the actual racks i forgot to mention are Thule racks, way better than the yakimas i had before..

Bumper!?

Did you custom fab the bumper or buy it from a company? If so what company?

Real mean lookin bronco! Keep it up!

Had to custom build it as nobody makes one, ill post more pics of the bumper when i get home

Very nice. The snorkel set up is great, might have to copy that

Killer looking rig!

Wow! That is one good looking rig. My next BII project is defintiely going to be a gen 2. I too would like to see the pics your bumper build as I need to get one built for my 88.

if you have enough pics you should do a tech write up on the snorkle
