2.8l with sniper efi pros cons

Hey new to the group I have an 84 b2 with the 2.8l I just picked up another 2.8 to rebuild and was just wondering if any of you are running the sniper set up? Not looking to swap motors and don't need alot of power just want to jump in and turn the key let me know what you folks have done thanks

The factory fuel and ignition systems on the 2.8L have a lot to be desired.

Most common upgrades are Duraspark ignition and an appropriate sized 2100 carb.

The thought of a reliable fuel injection system with a proper ignition system sounds like a great idea. I'm just not sure about the specifics to get you there.

Hey thanks I live in Utah and I'm just building my b2 so I can play around with it take it hunting and fishing keep the miles off the pickup. I'm gonna do the sniper set up for sure so I'll keep you posted on how it goes thanks for the reply.
