i'm dealin with some electrical issues in my BII right now, but as soon as those are taken care of I'm gonna start rebuilding the engine.
anyone ever done this before? NAPA has a kit that you can buy that has name brand parts for around $700 that includes everything you'd need. you can also subtract stuff out of the kit that you dont want and make it cheaper.
is there a better kit out there? should i even bother with the kit, or just buy a new 2.9L from ford? (assuming they still have them)
i'm gonna swap in the 4.0L from my 2000 exploder a few years down the road, but thats about 5 years away i'd say.
i'll eventually run 31 or 32 inch tires on the BII so i dont need gobs of power. i'm putting in 4.10's front and rear also. i just want a car good car to take to the mountains to go fishing and hunting.
sorry for the long post, all input welcome and thanks in advance.
