i'm about to swap a 94 explorer 8.8 into my 86 bronco. i have the small driveshaft and i need the bigger one. the tech library says i can use any 8.8 shaft built after 1990? is this correct? it will be the correct length? and the correct front flange as well?

I happened to have an 86 1350 on the bench plus 93 Ranger 8.8 and a 92 explorer 8.8 drive line. Either drive line bolts to the 1350 on the end that dosn't go to the 8.8.Your golden for fittings but you'll have to cut it down though both too long.
