88 Bronco II, 2.9 4spd Auto, 4x4.
Ignition key will not turn.
Parked it, took the key out as usual, put the key back in and it will not turn forward.
IF I wiggle and cuss a little I can sometimes get it to slowly move to back to the acc spot then back to off but I can not get it to move forward to start.
I took the column plastic cover pieces off and I can see the assembly.
I can see the small pin near the bottom that I am supposed to press to get the cylinder out. This pin moves a little as I am wiggling the key.
My book says I have to put the key in the Run position to press the pin to remove the cylinder.
How do I get the cylinder out when it is stuck in the off or lock position?
Thanks
Bill
