I pulled the trans to replace the clutch and while prepping noticed that the fill plug was all sorts of mangled. It appears someone went at it with a pair of vise grips. I drained it and got the trans out, but after looking at it in daylight, realized that there is just no way that this bolt is coming out. So my question to you fine B2 lovers, how do I refill the transmission with fluid? A mechanic told me to just fill it in the hole that the shifter goes into at the top. If this is accurate I will replace the trans and refill by volume, if not, what other suggestions do you all have?
