First question what year explorer should I look for? I would assume that as long as its not the independent rear or the mono leaf it's all the same but just want to make sure before I go to the local yard. Next question how lift can I get from combining some of the bronco pack with the explorer? I have a 4 inch lift and I'm trying to get rid of the block in the rear.

Yea those work as well, but usually have more mileage on them.

newer the better, less miles on them the better, dont get a mono leaf, independent rears use coils or struts so they wont have leaves

There's also a difference between 2 door and 4 door Ex leaf springs, usually the 4 door has one more leaf and is stiffer. Any year before 01 is fine, just use your judgement at the junkyard to see how sagged out they are.
