B2 body kit?? factory on some models??

Did some model of the b2 come with a body kit? My beater I picked up has a 3pcs kit on each side. 1st time seeing them. I don't have any good pic's of them, but some are still on in these.

Mine is an 89, it says xl on the fender but it makes me wonder. Has pw windows,locks,cruise,tilt,a/c,body kit,power air lumbar controls,leg adjuster for length.

Does this sound like just a loaded xl or something else??

Ha! your right, never seen one of those before! Not quite sure what to think about that. Looks a little weird to me, but i guess its rare!

The body kit itself was only 8 parts. There were at each wheel well lower corner.

So xls came with these then, mine must be missing those 2 front pcs.

Actually it is 9 parts. Front valance, two lower fender, two lower door mldgs, two front lower 1/4 mldgs, and two rear lower 1/4 mldgs.

I bought a new one with that package in '84'. Was the blue with tan striping, also shown on one the the sales magazines. Very good ride. Wish I had a picture somewhere.
