i recently bought a 1984 Bronco II it's the 2.9l v6 converted to fuel injection. when i bought it the previous owner told me that the cover for the air cleaner was upside-down because it otherwise runs rich. Ive had it for about 6 weeks now and it seems to run rich no matter what i do. I've considered getting a bigger air cleaner all together but am not sure if it will help> any ideas?

Thanks,
M. Blaschka

I'd also try checking for vaccuum leaks. Is there any oil on the plugs? If my memory serves me correctly that engine has the "old style" heads on it. Thery're quite prone to cracking. Just simply do a compression check for that headache to be sure.
