So I was able to get my 84 BII running! All I needed was to install a new fuel pump and it was running well in no time. However, the transmission won't shift into 2nd or 1st and it won't engage in gear when I put it into reverse or drive. Basically, when it's in gear, the trans acts like it's in neutral; it just let's the engine rev up without any movement. The RPMs do drop slightly in reverse but nothing happens. The trans is filled and the fluid is pink and doesn't smell burnt.
