I found someone parting out a 99 ranger xlt 4x4 - i believe that should have the Dana 35 front, but no 8.8in rear. They said i could get It for 275, what else would i need with the donor car, to get that into my bronco ii

My bronco is a 85 2.8l v6 - feedback carb, 3in body lift, 3in suspension lift, 31in tires.

Maybe the tcase? I appreciate any input

1998 and up has the IFS, not the TTB suspension. You'll need to find a 1990-1997 truck to swap the front axle. Any ranger can provide you the 8.8, and a FX Level 2 will have 31 spline axles. I just did the D35/8.8 swap on my Bronco II, you'll need the steering linkage, brake calipers swap over up to a 1994 axle. Good article on TRS about the swap: https://www.therangerstation.com/how-to/axles/dana-28-dana-35-axle-swap/

When sourcing your D35, be careful, most 4cyl 4x4 and some 3.0 V6 4x4 trucks had the Hybrid D35 axle w/ D28 internals.

Explorers from 1990 to 1994 are candidates for swap too.

Also, a good place to start your donor search (apart from any local yards you may know) is http://car-part.com which is a "part finder" used by a lot of junk yards to list what they have. You just have to search for a vehicle you know has the parts you want. For you, I would search for any 1990-1997 4x4, 4.0L v6 Ranger, or any 1990-1994 Explorer. Hope this helps!
