hmm. idler arm setup makes sense...

keep this in mine 4.0b2, the stock coil buckets don't quite fit the cherokee coils. i threw a 1/4 plate flat on top, with a notch in the right place, this works for a temp, but i would leave it at that.

i did so i could see if they flexed like i want, and if my ride height is correct, next step is to measure the length of the coil with the truck weight on it, then remove and build or use the correct size bucket, i think an f 150 bucket is needed. then make sure to use a coil spring retainer! loosing a coil isn't fun on the trail, not that i'd know or anything.....:dunno:

I know why the tires lean. I just gotta correct it. If I can get the money together after gears locker brakes and stuff. I'll buy the stonecrusher. If not I'll make something...

i bent the tongs in, and couldn't get it to sit in nicely. thats when i welded in the horizontal plates.

the rs6423's (rancho 3in lift xj coils) are what they use in the tech library.

these are 18in free length i think.

my jeep coils are 20in long, and of unknown brand, i just used the six in holes on my skyjacker brackets and it worked pretty well..

if you don't like your ride height, you can always move you upper coil bucket up, might take a bit of bracing, or fab work, but its all doable.

Cut the shaft yokes for full circle snap rings and use 5-760X spicer u joints. 5 years of wheeling on that setup for me and 0 failures.

drop brackets for the d28 and d35 are interchangeable.

You just need true drop brackets the rough country lift uses a drop plate on side to lower the factory bracket. This can cause damage to the larger d35 member under flex. It creates a space issue.. You need like skyjacker brackets
