Well I drove her to work today and it still needs a LOT of toe adjustment. I don't really know why. Also noticed that I have a bit of negative camber now. I guess the new brackets lowered the axle a bit more than my other ones. Going to throw in a few more washers under my coils when I get home to adjust.

Camber adjusted. And lifted it a tad in the process. Toe also adjusted, but not totally sure its completely straight. I'll find out tomorrow.

Tow hooks added for Interlake tomorrow :icon_thumby:

Had a lot of fun at Interlake today. At least until the damn Dana 28 decided to come apart. Cut my day short, but it left enough time to hit up the junkyard for a Dana 35 with 3.73 gears.

Lol yeah. Would have never gotten it out before they closed without Katie's help. Same truck had a locked 7.5 rear. Thinking about getting it if I don't find a 8.8 one.

make sure to double check the spindle nuts to see if they are for auto hubs....

and your D28 lock outs won't fit the D35....

I grabbed the manual hubs off it so I'm good to go. Now I am wondering if the calipers and rotors are a direct swap. I just replaced my pads and rotors on my D28.

Don't think you can use the rotors... IIRC the spindles are a different diameter, as is the rotor. Could be wrong though.

BII looks sweet though, gots to find me some 4" beam brackets for mine. What's next on the list? (minus 8.8 and 35)

Got off work today and decided to go ahead and swap out the axles. Got her all together for the most part.

Then hit up Autozone for some longer shocks and brake lines.

Still to do: install brake lines and bleed them, hook up steering components, shorten driveshaft, find bigger tires!

I called a place in Chandler called Driveline Plus. They said it would cost $40.
