fender cutting

is this something i can do in one afternoon with a sawzal? i only want to cut about two inches off.

I used an airchisel with a sheetmetal cuttin bit, plenty of people use sawzalls and cutoff wheels

people also use plasma cutters, and cutting torches

Duh!
if u have a compressor get a cheap recip saw from harbot freight(one of those small ones) for like 9.99 and use it, alot easier then those big bulky sawzalls

Yes. It only takes an afternoon and a sawzall works just fine. That's how mine were cut.
