I have a 1990 bronco 2 and would like to swap the front clip to a earlier model with the square lights and separate blinkers any guess on how hard it will be?

Its not that hard. You need the rad support from the same vehicle as your new front end. Unbolt the front clip. Remove grill and all other associated pieces to expose the front rad support. There are a bunch of spot welds that you will need to drill out with a specialized spot weld drill bit. Replace old rad support with new. I used self-tapping screws and they are still holding on my race truck. Replace sheet metal with new.
