My fuel pump relay went out so I straight wired the plug while I was waiting on my ebay part (even ford cant get the correct relay) but I wired it to go to work fuel pump cut on for 2 seconds and stopped. Do they just freeze ? I thought if it was worn out I would hear it struggle. Truck wont crank now is the plug burnt ?? I dont wanna pull all that junk....

The fuel pump, on a stock system, will only run for 2 seconds if the engine isn't running over ~350 rpm. It's a safety feature for accidents. I don't believe that plug has anything to do with the starter.
