The fuel pump on my B2 was not always working so I replaced them both. worked ok for a few weeks then it would not start and it was obvious it was the fuel pump because it did not make any sound. Go back later and it would work? I tried the cut off switch and it seemed fine, is there a relay or solenoid I need to check or change? Thanks for any experienced help.

Yes there is at least one relay. Should be located on the passenger side fender under the hood.

I've had plenty of these go bad, good place to start troubleshooting.

It will be the green relay, green for go [gas] is the mnemonic I use. Tho apparently the computer relay has a part in this also but I'm not up on how.

Yes, green, unless it's been changed, the aftermarket ones are usually black.

If I remember right the fuel pump relay is powered off the ECM relay, or vice versa, or something like that.

In any case, the fuel pump in mine doesn't work if either relay fails.
