I think a fuel pump fuse blew and I believe the black box on passenger side behind the intake is a fuse box but there's no hinges and a water proof seal It looks like.how do I open without braking it.

The fuse box will not be on the firewall. It's been so long I don't remember exactly but it will be on the drivers or passengers inner fender.

On my 90 B2 it is on the passenger front inside fender well.

My 88, it's behind a metal panel below the headlight switch and above the hood release.. Originally they had two plastic turn tab type locks. Over time they get can get lost or broken and get replaced with regular screws.

I also have the inside fuse box that tucks away above the hood release lever on my 90 BII. You just move the handle down and the fuse box comes into view. I thought you were looking for the fuse box inside the engine bay.

Ah... what he might be looking at is the box that holds the Relays. My 88 doesn't have one, the relays are screwed onto the inner fender panel. A previous owner probably trashed it when they put in replacement engine.
A picture would help.
