Well I have been repairing my 91 ranger and my 86 b2 and they are in the Frankenstein stage meaning all the parts are different colors. I was wanting to paint them both myself to just try my hand at painting. I know the technique just never actually tried it. Neither one of my vehicles have body damage but a little a surface rust. With all that being said I was just curious if anyone has tried the single stage paint from advance? It requires no mixing and is ready to paint. Just curious if its half decent? Not looking for a professional paint job just would like my truck to match and look decent.

Never used it but it can't be any worse than any other cheap paint. Use whatever you want, any paint can be made to look decent, it just depends on the prep, how you apply it, and environmental conditions. I've painted a couple trucks with Rustoleum rattle cans and they looked OK. The results from that depend 100% on temperature and humidity.
