So i saw this home radiator flush kit at autozone the other day. i've seen them before, but never used one. i need to flush the radiator in my BII and thought i might give it a try. anyone used one?

here's a link to one so you can see what i mean.....i cant see them workin that well, but i dont have 75 or 100 bucks to spend at a shop

It certainly won't hurt nothing. Personally I prefer to not have the thing installed in my heater hose just so that it looks much cleaner. I always just take the heater hose off and flush it with the hose that way. It will work pretty good for flushing, way back in the day they actually used to sell inline filters for your coolant like that. Wish I had one, what a great idea.

But yeah, do it yourself it will only cost you antifreeze that way. Pride in ownership and repair as well!
