Was removing the transmission today and the lil white clip that you have to push in to remove the hydraulic line from the slave cylinder got damaged. Anybody have a clue to where I can get a new white clip?

I just went to my local u-pull-it jy and crawled under trucks till i found one and then just pulled it off and stuck it in my pocket and walked out. Not really the most honest thing to do but i figure that the 2 dollar entrance fee I payed was payment enough for it.

Yeah, I would just go grab one from a truck in a junkyard.

I imagine you could get one from Ford, but they'd probably charge you $18 or some other ungodly amount for it.

You could make one that works, I've done it with thin flexible plastic.

I ordered a new hydraulic line already and looks like from the pic that it comes with a new one. Now I just gotta find a used M5OD-R1 Transmission.
