so i got to thinking. when i go doorless what about my subs? what about my tools? etc etc.

i could make a BIG lockable box to put around all that

heres what i came up with. sorry its a bit confuseing

blue is the outline of the big box

yellow is a guard in front of my subs and two dividers

pink is my box/w amp

what should i make it out of? wood? steel? i dont think aluminum would fit the bill, its expensive and idk how to weld it. id like something light or semi light

my vote goes for making a steel frame (box or angle steel), then riveting aluminum panels to it for a little weight savings

You make it out of wood, someone will break it and steal stuff in it. Steel is too heavy.

I agree, steel cage, aluminum panels. And check the rivets VERY often!!!!!!

Aluminum welds the same as stell, just a different gas and type wire is used.
