important roof basket questions

on a 1990 bii for a roof basket with lights intigrated is 68" front to back 42" side to side and 6 or 7 inches tall too big it looks like much like this one \

I just measured my 90b2 in I can fit a 72x48 basket on top easy. So that one will not be too big. Any one know where I can get one that big with out costing a arm n leg?

You might try ebay - I know you can get the 4'x4' baskets there for $100 shipped. You may be able to find the larger baskets there as well. Post back what you find!

Nates 4x4 has a 72x48 for 300 shipped with gutter mounts. I'm just not sure if the mounts fit. Does any jeeps have the same gutters as bronco 2 or close to same?

XJ roof racks should be the closest. Basically, a raingutter mount will work on most any raingutters.

this is the roof rack I built and had on my 86. I made feet that served as sliders, then ran the roof rack on the OEM roof rack tracks using the the slider feet. Then I bolted through one of the perpendicular cross members than runs between the big glass windows in two spots for more rigidity.
