I finally got back to my Bronco for some things that needed finished. It's been at least 6 months since I touched it. I had bought a rubber mat to replace the carpet. More of an original Bronco theme I have had for this BII. Anyway, when I started cutting out the original carpet, I thought I would take a pic of the original paint still on the floor :) The BII is black, so you are seeing the original black. I know many have posted about all the rust they're BIIs had in the floors, cracking and such. Hey believe me, I know about rust. Hell, it's even in my business name. But it's nice to come across something that didn't have any. Here in the Peoples Republic of Maryland, everything rusts eventually. It's why I am always busy. But somehow this truck was saved. It does only have 54K miles, which is a big help, but it wasn't garage kept when I bought it , nor since. So onward with the work . . . . .

So that's what the floor of a b-II is supposed to look like....
I got lucky and had one given to me that's rust free, only problem is it's red and I don't have a red interior. Guess I'll be researching plastic and rug paints/dye.

Well darn Pete that floor looks brand new. Don't worry I'm sure you will find some rust to fix if you keep looking. Don't give up yet buddy.
