What's up everyone? I have a question that is backwards to what most folks do, but I have a 90 bronco II with the M5OD that has lost 1st and 3rd gears, I have been offered a Mitsubishi trans to swap it with for free, which is why I'm looking to switch to the mitsu. It came out of a late 80's model, 88 or 89, so I'm thinking the FM146. That being said, my question is are there any issues with swapping it out or is it a direct swap? Just trying to get an idea before I get started on it. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!
