Got the truss done for the most part, but forgot to snap a pic before I slid it back under ....so deal with a crappy pic.

I ran the truss out to the c's, I don't mind it I guess. Now on to getting it installed.

Also picked up some new to me rollers till I can buy some good ones. 36.5" rvt tires on some stock 8 lug wheels. I hope they last a few runs but for the price, I can't complain.

Where did you get the front axle from? I thought all Dodges after 94 had the disconnect

It's an 02 dodge 3500 axle. I believe 02.5 and newer are non cad

Swapped out t cases tonight, pulled the body lift out, put new stock bushings in, fixed a coupke body mounts and got ready to start on the new trans link crossmember.

did you swap the hubs over to single wheel? Do they have lockouts or is it a unit bearing setup like the ja-heeps. so the axles spin, but the transfer case is not engaged?

Its a single wheel already, least I think it is..lol

No locking hubs, splined into the unit bearing so yeah, everything spins. I guess you can swap parts off a superduty to get locking hubs if i wanted to.

Cool man. Thanks for the info. Pretty sure 94-02 all 3500 trucks were duallies. The 94-02 trucks did have dana 60s in them in the 2500 trucks though. 03 is when they changed the body style and went to the Common Rail. The 03-05 trucks you could get a 3500 single wheel.

IDK, I think they do have a SRW 3500, but I'm no expert. For what I can tell, I have a SRW 60, maybe it is from a 2500.

I can't seem to find any info on the differences, any help?

Edit:

Went through the thread and picked out some info. From what I see, 94-99, 00-01.5, and 01.5-02 were all different. 70.5" WMS to WMS on the single wheel.

Edit again:

01.5-02 are the only non-cad. 00-02 all run the same knuckles/balljoints/better brakes. Edited the stuff above. Asking about the difference between the 2500-3500

DRW front D60 is the same as the SRW front D60, they just added spacers for offset.

Thanks for the info bud!

Update:

Lower links mocked up, crossmember in place, not finished yet. Still have some gussets, trimming and welding to do

Upper link made, 1.75, 1/4 wall dom, bushings on one side, 7/8 Heim on the other. Trackbar is the same.

Springs showed up, 5.5 super flex eb coils

Made all my upper link mounts and frame side trackbar mount. Not sure what I'm doing on the axle side. I need to make coil buckets too for the frame.

Hope to make some progress tomorrow.

Made lots of progress today.

Got all the front suspension mocked up. 36" long links, all of them, 8.5" separation at the axle, 4" at the frame. That is about all I could fit, hope it works good with the 100" wheel base. The crossmember is installed, fully welded, just need to take the center out and finish the driveshaft clearance. Also got all the body mounts fixed, front frame horns replaced, still unsure on bumper, just put a tube in there to hold everything.

Pictures

Mostly finished crossmember

Plated frame for trackbar mount

Trackbar mount mocked up

3 link. At about full bump, 3" of uptravel right now, limited to my trackbar clearance. Gonna tweek that more to get about 4" of uptravel

The front frame fixed

Tomorrow hope to work on the rear axle. Gonna shave it and finish weld everything.

14 bolt shaved

Everything welded up, u bolts trimmed to length, waiting for paint to dry. Also I welded the spiders in the rear. Hope to get it back together and installed this week.

Next in the list is coil buckets, boxing link mounts, then assembly. If things go good, maybe I'll start on drive shafts.

Rear axle all painted up, all welded up, and installed. Just need shocks and brake lines.

Got some ballistic adjustable coil buckets, think I have a plan on getting them in. Once those are in along with shocks, the front will come back apart for final weld gussets and paint. Then on to steering and drive shafts.

I also picked up the new to me 86 front clip I'm getting excited!

So rear is pretty much done then? Are you going to put a doubler in this?
