Hi all, I have an 88' Bronco II I bought to be a winter driver/summer wheeler. well after a couple months of teenage driving, being jumped, and one speeding ticket ( 96mph ouch!!!!) It is in need of some tlc. My plan is new explorer springs on each corner, a 1inch body lift, some paint, and some lights, (possibly dana 35 and 8.8 swap). From what I understand the exploder springs will give inch or two of lift. So here is the big question!! (sorry, I ramble) can i fit some 31x10.50 BFG All-Terrains?? Any input is greatly appreciated!

thanks,
Strings

I'd actually seen that already. It makes sense too me that two inches of lift would let me fit one more inch of tire (since it will fit a 30 stock and i'm going to a 31), but I need the help of the experts!!

"a 31x10.50R15 will fit on '83-'92 4x4 models with 3" lift"

Straight from the thread you said you just read...

No biggie... For future reference most everything on Rangers and Explorer and BII's are the same :)

if it helps, I have a 2in suspension lift on my 88 B2 and I run 30x9.5x15 on it with no prblems, riims are 15x8, and the rims and tires didn't fit before the lift, mainly the front tires rubbed, in the wheel well, always wondered if I could fit 31x10.5 with only a 2 in lift.

I have an 88 Bronco II with a two inch body lift. I am running 15x8 rims with 30.9.50 15's with no rubbing issues. I had an 84 with the same 2 inch lift and ran 29-10.50-15 Super swamper SSr's with no issues on 15x8 steel rock crawlers.

Didn't know they made 30x10.5x15, I was always looking for a little wider tire than my 9.5s...without going higher.
