I assume you used weldable primer so you don't have to grind the primer down again?

i had to grind the caliper brackets i bought to fit on the axle, the pads and rotors didn't line-up as in didn't sit with full contact surface of the pads against the rotors. all better now, the brackets are welded to the axle.

the grinder kinda got away from me on the first one lol

I cannot get the D44 gears installed with a good pattern...this thing is kicking my ass. I have gone through all kinds of shims, moving them around, taking the pinion in/out and replacing shims..........I am starting to wonder if the i do not have a housing problem.....

I have another D44 housing at the house i think, i might just grab that and start over....

Looks like you've been doing this at work as it is. Not everyone can rebuild a 9" in 2 days and work at the same time. Works has been slow then??

So your working on it this weekend? So I expect it to be done and first test drive on Monday!:icon_rofl::icon_hornsup:

yeah works slow in the shop, i am averaging half my normal flat rate hours for a normal week, so i gotta do something with my time. Not like i'm getting paid while i am at work when not working on a car.

I am hoping to have the rear susp done, coil buckets made, and the engine trans and tcase installed and possibly getting the body on the frame this weekend.

Is it with the USA Standard gearset or the Yukons?
