Yeah, doesn't seem to difficult.The shift linkage is actually a simple design and a person could easliy make it out of simple stuff. Its a lever hooked to a bolt as a piviot then a long flat piece of steel with a hole at the front and end that then hooks to the lever that hooks to the tcase linkage.
I will say that if I ever get a front driveshaft put in mine and go to use 4wd, the shift lever will hit and be in the way of my leg but nothing some cutting, bending and welding cant fix.
This might be a way to go if I cant find an older t case.
