New to the Bronco II scene, just picked up a well loved 1987.

It's had a respray along the way somewhere and still has some major body panel cancer in areas.

298,000 kms ( ~200,000 mi).

I think it has a rebuilt engine, not sure. I've yet to do a compression test, but it runs pretty smooth and strong. It's an A4LD, and has a few little issues that I understand are common (delayed reverse engagement) but seems otherwise not bad.

Water ingress has mold growing on the door panels, steering wheel, seats etc. Carpet is shot.

So that's where I'll start, stopping the water! I'll post something in whatever section is appropriate with my water fight progress. Do guys post build logs here?I'll search that.

My credo
Use what you have to its full extent and have fun doing it.
I have the same problem with my Bronco II. Living in Oregon I noticed my interior has a lot of mold buildup/growth, also the reverse crap that I have to deal with. Not to mention my headliner is like dust if you happen to brush against it. I am new here as well. :)
