do you think an 86 b2 with the auto trans would be able to haul a 89 b2 using the stock bumper ball. Its upgraded to a 6000lbs. i am going to go pick up another for trans and parts.

Flat tow? sure, but I wouldn't go far. Trailer? no way in hell.

I guess it depends on how much you like your truck. The ball may be rated to 6000lbs, but I bet your bumper isn't rated for more than half that....


Where is that picture of the Dodge that has no ball hitch now, 'cause his rusty bumper fell apart? lol

I have a 3500lbs ball on my back bumper, and I have used it to pull people out of the mud and stuff, but I wouldn't ever try to actually tow something.
