Im a chevy guy but got a really sweet deal on a trade for a 84 bronco 2 that i could not pass up. i know very little on what parts are best for fords. the bronco 2 has a 3 speed auto 4x4 that im aware of, with the 2.8. it will be a winter vehicle when my 79 camaro (front engine rear wheel pony car) is not drivable. i travel 45 minutes to an hour one way to work daily. i may help other drivers outta ditches if i have time, but it will mainly be a pavement prowler. id like to know what overdrive auto transmissions would work. 5 speed minimum but im ok with up to and including a 7 or 8 speed auto. as i said i am normally a chevy guy and my camaro has a manual, so i need to know what is out there. i may switch to a 302 or 351 later but this is what i got now. please help
