Okay I need some help!!! Took my trans out of my 1985 Bronco II it has the FM145. Put in new clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bering also put in flywheel while I was at it. Bleed the clutch down and put in new shifter now it acts like it is always in a gear and you can only shift into fifth and reverse. Have no clue what's wrong or how to fix this issue please help need this for daily driving :icon_confused:

Did you install the clutch disc with the correct side against the flywheel?

Well that will cause the clutch to not disengage and you will have difficulty shifting.

No. If you over torque the bolts, you could snap them. But the plates fits tightly against the flywheel where it bolts.

Thanks for all the help turns out that a shift fork had popped in when the shifter broke. took the top plate off the tranny and popped it back it to place now it shifts fine.
