yeah, i crawled under and looked at while i was there to make sure it was an 8.8. i think all explorers come with 8.8's. i also figured out what the code was, it's an open 3.73.
kinda sucks cause i wanted to regear to 4.10's and i was hoping to find one with a limited slip and 4.10's. oh well, i'll probably still get it.

Code 46 is for an Open 3.73 Explorer axle.

edit: never mind. You got to it before me.

I paid C$200 for a d-28 and 7.5 with 4.10 l/s gears. I had to rebuild the 7.5. I thought that was a fairly good deal.

yeah i think it was too, esp. since 4.10 gears for both would be over $200, not including install kits.

exploder springs would be ~$50 at the JY, so i'd like to think i'm getting it for $130.

i have 3.73's in my b2 tho, so at least i can throw it under there and regear in the future when i get bigger tires. plus, it has disc brakes
